How to Install python-xmpp software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-xmpp software package provides Python library for communication with XMPP (Jabber) servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-xmpp

python-xmpp is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-xmpp package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-xmpp *

You will get with python-xmpp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
